Aircraft Components & Structures:
Remmele Engineering is recognized as a market-leading supplier of complex, large precision machined structural components and assemblies for mission-critical aircraft applications. Remmele partners with aerospace customers at the critical early stages of the airframe lifecycle to help them find maximum value and reduced total project costs.
Remmele is able to offer such value in part due to its array of capabilities, such as large scale precision High Velocity Machining (HVM) for aluminum alloys, machining for high performance materials (e.g. titanium, composites), advanced metal joining technologies, manufacturing engineering expertise, and a reliable global supply chain.
One way that Remmele has demonstrated its ability to cut time and cost from project budgets is the use of monolithic structure builds, which reduces total part counts, assembly labor, and tooling costs. Monolithic structures, possible through the use of precision machining, are a more reliable manufacturing practice than stick-built assemblies and result in improved product performance and survivability.
In addition, Remmele also offers full assembly and kitting services. Remmele currently produces and delivers complete part family kits to aerospace OEMs, ranging upwards of several hundred parts per aircraft and covering sizes up to 200”. Remmele works with its aerospace customers early on to deliver a customized assembly plan, which can include Type I to Type III assembly work. Kitting is customized to accommodate the customer’s inventory management system and support point-of-use production systems.
The world’s leading and progressive aerospace companies count on Remmele Engineering everyday to meet their manufacturing needs. Remmele continues to strive to be the industry’s leading aerospace contract manufacturing source through quality, innovation, and earned trust.
