Utilizing CoolStream technologies allows Remmele customers to:
- Create a fully customized flow path. Partnering with Remmele’s design engineers allows customers to create a flow path directed at their largest sources of heat.
- Minimize the number of contact resistances. Traditional fin stock needs to be brazed into the cooling device. The brazing process creates pockets of air that lower thermal connectivity. CoolStream’s integrated fins reduce restrictions to thermal conductivity.
- Provide more accurate modeling in less time. The integrated fins of Remmele’s CoolStream technology forces the coolant to stay in its intended channel, making design analysis less computationally intensive.
- Design a more repeatable thermal management product. Brazed in fin stock can increase variability in performance. CoolStream’s integrated fins are machined into a thermal management product, making each piece identical to a client's design.
- Gain greater flexibility to adjust key heat transfer variables. CoolStream allows customers to maximize heat transfer while balancing the inherent trade-offs.
